I was trying to pay for something on the Argos app and while it was verifying my card, a message popped up saying if I didn’t get a text from my bank within 5 minutes, I should ring this number. It said it was the Bank of Scotland's fraud department with some code like C5. It felt a bit off since my bank usually just sends a code to approve payments. I phoned the number but ended the call before giving any card info.
