Just got a ring from this number a short while ago. My phone puts unknown numbers straight to silent so I never got to hear who it was. Got a call from a number I didnt recognise so I just ignored it. Then I decided to block it and sent a report to 7726. No idea who it could be.

I got a call saying my Virgin Media router was at risk or something, but it was obviously a scam. Best thing to do is just ignore it and put the phone down.

Somebody rang me saying they were from Virgin Media's tech support. Could hear loads of background noise, like they were working in one of those call centre places. They told me there’s someone trying to mess with my computer IP or something. I managed to get their number by saying my son would get in touch later because I’m not great with all this computer lark.
