Got another call from supposedly the TSB Fraud Team, but it’s just a total scam. If the real TSB Fraud Squad were to phone you - which they wouldn’t really do - they’ve loads of ways to prove they’re legit. Don’t ever give info or touch your phone’s keypad if this number shows up. Just drop the call straight away! Seriously dodgy stuff.

Keep getting calls about a TSB transaction but I no longer have an account with them, so it was a bit worrying. I’ve just blocked the number now.

I contacted the TSB fraud department after mistakenly dismissing two text messages as spam the night before. When I checked the number 0345, I realized it belonged to TSB. To rectify the situation, I attempted to change my password on the TSB app but found that it was locked. I then contacted the TSB number found on their website, and they verified that it was indeed their fraud department number. They informed me that my account had been blocked because I had not responded to their texts or phone calls. Thankfully, everything got sorted out, and I am now able to access my account online again.

Got a recorded call about some dodgy activity on my card. They rung both our landline and mobile. If it really was the bank, why wouldn’t they just speak to us directly? Oddly, they knew my partner’s name. Then asked to press any button, which seemed off. We ended up calling TSB ourselves on the number at the back of the card. They went over recent transactions properly. Better to be cautious and chat to a real person. TSB did say the number was genuine though.

They claimed to be from TSB Fraud and asked for some info about my credit card. They did say the last four digits though. Then they asked me to pick my date of birth from three options to confirm. I just ended the call. Tried calling TSB back, but getting through was a nightmare, gave up after waiting 45 minutes.

Multiple phone calls have been received, allegedly from the TSB fraud department, demanding that the recipient presses a particular number to respond to some queries, presumably related to security. Given the nature of the calls, they were regarded as a scam and promptly ended.

At first I figured this was some kinda scam, but turns out it wasn't. I rang TSB to double check and they told me someone tried to use a cloned credit card with my details. Luckily, they stopped the payment since I didn’t respond to their call or text to verify it was me. They’ve cancelled my card now.

Got a call from someone saying they're with TSB fraud team, an automated voice asking about recent charges on a card reported lost or cloned. Sounds legit to me. If you're unsure, best to ring TSB directly. They usually leave a voicemail with a pin code you'll need to use when you reply.

Greetings, this is an automated call from the fraud department of TSB, concerning recent card transactions. I contacted TSB directly and they verified the number, connecting me to the same automated message. This came after I had cancelled a credit card.

This number is legit, belongs to TSB bank. When they think something fishy is going on with your bank account or payment, they ring you up to make sure it's actually you making the transaction. I got a call from 0345 356 1034, then some texts from TSB (came from an invisible number) saying they needed to verify a transaction. They also mentioned I'd get texts from +44 7537 453 830. Just went through this today, 26-07-2021.
