without a doubt a shady scam. got a robotic voice going through some menu and telling me to press "1" to give out bits of my personal info. heads up, a legit bank would literally never ring you up asking for your name, date of birth, passwords or any kind of verification details. stay safe folks!

This number rang me twice today claiming to be Smile Bank and saying there was suspicious stuff going on with my account. I checked with Smile Bank directly and they said it's probably a scam. They told me to just ignore it and block the number. If a bank really saw anything dodgy on your account, they’d get in touch with you in a safer way. Honestly, be careful and don’t trust these unknown callers pretending to be from your bank.

Got a robocall saying it was my bank warning about fraud and telling me to ring them back. The number wasn’t in the official contact list on my bank’s website, so I figured it’s probably a scam trying to trick me into giving my account info. Definitely not ringing back.
