Had a call from Virgin Media about my broadband deal ending soon. They said the price was gonna go up by £15 a month, but if I signed for another 18 months, I could keep the same rate. Figured why not and said yes, with the usual 14 days to pull out if I want. They sent the paperwork over email while we were chatting. Also, they said they gave my router a remote reset to improve the speed, but honestly, I don’t see any difference yet. Phone number looked proper legit.

Some bloke rang me from 01915642660, said his name was Jordan Knox and claimed to be calling from BT. He told me my internet had been compromised. I asked for a number to ring him back on, and he gave me 03453451111. I’m a bit wary to phone it though, in case it’s a dodgy number. When I tried calling the original 0191 number again, it just said I’d dialled a wrong number. Seems fishy to me.
