Got a message like that too, right after I got a letter from Tesco saying pretty much the same thing. I do have my car insurance through Tesco, so I double-checked and everything’s legit. Luckily, found this site before I got caught out, so I just binned the text without a second thought.

Someone called saying they were from Gem Services, claiming there was an issue with my internet speed. They asked me to sign into my computer and run a speed test, but I didn’t go along with it since I was pretty sure it was a scam.

Just got a text saying

Thing is, I don’t have any car insurance with Tesco! It looked pretty convincing though. I just got rid of it straight away! Watch out for this one!
