3 yearsI recently found myself caught up in a dodgy cash-for-crash scheme, which I promptly reported to both West Midlands Police and Action Fraud. Out of the blue, I received a phone call from 'Lydia' using the number 0345 246 3134, insisting she was dealing with a personal injury claim on behalf of a foreign driver who rear-ended my vehicle-resulting in only minor damage, mind you. When I pressed her for more concrete information, she was quite evasive. It turns out the insurance company she mentioned, Go Skippy (company number 12461259), has apparently been taken off the register. Oddly enough, when you try ringing back the number, it just doesn’t connect. To my annoyance, she called again yesterday. My son managed to jot down some notes, but when I attempted to reach out to her afterward, no luck.
