Received a message claiming we're parting ways. I've no clue where they obtained that information. I’m just choosing to disregard it since it could likely be a scam.

I got a message and email today from 03451720120, but it wasn’t from Talk Talk at all. Pretty sure it’s some kind of scam.

Today, I got a text saying "Sorry to see you go. We've received your request to switch from another provider. A letter confirming what services you'll lose and any outstanding payments has been sent. If you have questions, ring us at 0345 1720120." TalkTalk told me that someone’s attempted to change my broadband provider without my say-so. The text wasn’t even from TalkTalk; whoever’s behind this has my info and tried to make the switch. TalkTalk are now looking into who did this and trying to figure out which company I’m supposedly moving to.

Today we received yet another of those irritating 'sorry to see you go' messages. Thankfully, we clocked onto the fact that it was a con and refrained from making the call. I really pity the elderly folk who might fall for such tricks! We've also encountered calls in the past claiming they were going to disconnect our service due to an issue with the line, purporting to be from Sky.

Just got a message apologising and saying they were quitting TalkTalk, with a number 034501720120 to call. I stopped being a TalkTalk client about 5 years ago though, so I'm guessing the scammers might have got hold of their contact list? Seems dodgy to me.

Received that exact message supposedly from TalkTalk, but I didn’t do anything about it. Feels quite risky if you ask me.

I've received a message from this number. I haven't switched from Talk Mobile, but I've altered my broadband plan. I think I'll just disregard it.

Just got a message from 07958-879-813 saying ‘sorry to see you go - call 03451720120 to check what you owe and what you’ll be losing’. Thing is, I’m not actually leaving. Back on 22nd November, I was switched over to their fast broadband plan after I raised a fuss about being charged for anytime calls that used to be free on my previous deal. They removed my free calls and now want me to pay £7.50 monthly for a ‘boost’ service just to keep free calls. Quite annoyed about it really.

Received a message from the number 07958-879-813, claiming that TalkTalk was regretting my departure and instructed me to call 03451720120 to discover what I'd supposedly lost and what fees I might incur. However, I've not actually left TalkTalk! My plan was simply downgraded to the fast broadband option on 22nd November 2016 because they removed my complimentary anytime calls and now wish to charge £7.50 monthly for the privilege of an ‘add-on.’ It's an utter swindle!

Got a text from TalkTalk apologising for me leaving them, but I’m not actually leaving. I did a live chat through my account and they said they couldn’t see any record of that message. Pretty sure it was just sent by mistake.

Received a message claiming that TalkTalk was lamenting my departure and mentioned a letter would be on its way detailing reasons for me to remain. The thing is, I've never even been a customer of TalkTalk! Seems a bit dodgy to me-can’t help but think this isn’t really from them.

I’ve just received a rather dodgy message. I certainly haven't asked to alter or terminate my broadband service, that's for sure. It seems they’ve reached out with some preemptive concerns about my departure. They've apparently processed a request to switch from a different provider. A letter has been dispatched to inform me of what I’m about to forfeit and any outstanding payments. Should I have any queries, they suggest ringing them at 0345 1720120. Quite perplexing, isn't it?

I’ve just had a dodgy text telling me to ring this number. I definitely haven’t asked for any alterations to my broadband service. It’s disheartening to learn you’re considering leaving us. We've noted a request has come in to switch from a different provider. A confirmation letter is on its way to you, outlining what you're giving up and any outstanding payments. If there’s anything you’d like to clarify, please don’t hesitate to give us a bell at 0345 1720120.
