Got a letter the other day claiming I owe money to EE, but I've never had any account or service with them. Really confused about where this is coming from.

A couple of hours before I got the call, my daughter received an email telling me to contact them. Then, when I saw a suspicious email in my inbox, I phoned the number given. The man said he was calling on behalf of EE and had a message for me, but I needed to answer some security questions first, like my current and former addresses. I couldn’t recall my old postcode and he told me to reach out to EE myself since I didn’t pass the security checks. I’ve decided not to pursue it any further, but honestly, it’s left me feeling quite uneasy now.

I had two missed messages on my voicemail while I was out last week. Someone asking for a Kelly Morgan said it wasn’t a sales call and told me to ring back on the same number. They mentioned a company and gave a reference number but I couldn’t make them out properly. I've been getting random calls for this Kelly Morgan off and on for nearly a year and a half from different firms (seriously). It’s all looking like some kind of scam - maybe debt collectors - so next time they ring I’ll pick up so I can block the number. Watch out for these dodgy calls.

This nonsense has been ongoing for more than two years, popping up intermittently. They rang me saying my late hubby owed money to EE. I knew straight away it was dodgy. I called the local EE shop, not the main one, and they had no clue about Arvato and said I’d have got loads of letters, first from EE then Arvato, if it was real. So I could tell it was a scam. They even wanted me to send a copy of my husband’s death certificate! I’m almost tempted to pick up if they ring again just to tell them off and get some of my anger out.
