I fell victim to a fraudulent scheme masquerading as Microsoft. They presented themselves with very convincing images and impressive company credentials. They alarmed me about supposed hacking threats to my internet account and proposed an investigation for a nominal fee of £2 for some protective software. To top it off, they tantalised me with an offer of £150 as a gesture of goodwill. However, I later discovered they had exploited my bank details to make numerous unauthorised withdrawals. I managed to cut ties with these scammers, but getting in touch with my bank was a slow ordeal, and by then, they had siphoned off quite a bit of money from my accounts. It appears they created an account in my name without consent through Moneygram, linked to someone named Jim Joseph Rosales. I seem to recall this name flashing on my screen as the one supposedly compensating me, but in reality, I was unknowingly funding his deceit.
