Once again it was Cabot Financial ringing me up. The caller said his name was Ira, which didn’t sound like one of them, prob some foreign person. I’m from Lancashire and get these calls nearly every couple of days. I’ve blocked the number now but it still pops up when they try to ring.

Cahoot Financial chasing me for payment on a debt they bought really cheap that’s more than 9 years old. It’s been on my credit report for 6 years but is now gone. They want me to pay in full but I told them after 6 years it’s statute barred. If they want to take me to court, bring it on, I’ll be there. They keep phoning though and when they call, they ask for loads of personal info - don’t give anything away, it's protected under data protection laws.
