I had the misfortune of being jolted from my slumber at the crack of dawn, around 5:00 am, only to be disturbed once more at 7:15, yet there was only silence on the other end. I really despise these early morning calls; they send shivers down my spine, making me dread the possibility of hearing something dreadful. The number that flashed on my caller ID was 434.142.3679.

I've received two calls from the number 34-142-3679 on 13th May 2017-one at 7:21 in the morning and another later at 10:20 am. Strangely enough, there was no message left on either occasion. The caller ID simply showed "Name Unavailable," which makes it all the more enigmatic.

Got loads of calls from what seems like a dodgy number, definitely not a legit one. Also, got a ring from 01341 423679 which looks like it’s from Barmouth, Wales. Like others have said here, don’t bother ringing back, it might be one of those expensive premium rate numbers. If you can, block it using BT’s blacklist feature or something similar.

Had a rather peculiar experience today - received around four calls, but all I encountered was nothing but silence on the line. Very odd indeed!

They kept ringing a few times but no one ever answered. I reckon it might be one of those premium lines, so if I called back, I’d probably end up paying something like £3.50 a minute.

I received a rather dodgy phone call earlier, apparently from someone claiming to be with BT. The caller's grasp of English was quite lacking, which set off immediate alarm bells. When I pressed her for the location of her call centre, she mumbled something that was hard to decipher. In my confusion, I cheekily suggested, 'Are you talking about 123 Dupe Street?' To my surprise, she agreed without really understanding what ‘dupe’ implied. Ultimately, she got flustered and hung up after muttering something under her breath. It felt like a scam in the making, but we never quite uncovered what the con was supposed to be. Quite the peculiar encounter, if you ask me!

I just received a phone call at home, but when I picked up, there was utter silence. The line cut off after a matter of seconds. What a peculiar experience!

I received a rather alarming call informing me that my computer was infected with a virus. They claimed that someone had access to my IP address and urged me to turn on my device, which raised a huge red flag for me. I can’t shake the feeling that their real intention was to steal my personal information.
