For the past couple of weeks, Capquest has been ringing us every single morning from about 9:15 to 9:30, always leaving a message on our answerphone. I’m pretty sure we signed up for the do-not-call list ages ago, so it’s annoying to keep getting these calls. When we finally picked up one time, the connection just cut off! Does anyone have any advice on how to get them to stop pestering us?

Over the past couple of weeks, this number has called me loads of times. It's just some debt collector, but I don’t owe anything, so I’m just not answering anymore.

I got calls from these debt collection people who snatch up tiny unpaid debts and then try to scare you into coughing up. Since the amounts are too small for them to bother with legal action, all they do is badger you constantly over the phone. Best thing to do is just ignore these muppets! Honestly, if they wanted to take you to court (assuming the debt's real), it would cost them way more than what you supposedly owe.

These debt collectors are absolute nuisances, they go after tiny unpaid amounts and try to intimidate you into coughing up cash. Since the sums are too small for legal action, they just keep pestering you nonstop on the phone. Best to just block their calls and not give them the satisfaction, what a load of rubbish!

20/08/2015 For the last couple of weeks I've been getting daily calls from 01252 765266, always at least once each day. When I don't pick up, their answerphone message mentions 'Capquest' and asks me to ring back on 03339997204. I did answer once and they wanted to ask questions about my bank, but I told them I was tied up and didn’t share any details. If anyone needs to reach me, my e-mail is [email protected]
