They keep ringing on a regular basis but hang up before I can even pick up. Was guessing it was spam. Had a look on this site and it really helped clear things up. I've gone ahead and blocked them now. Cheers! I’m pretty sure they’ll try again using a different 0333 number. Best to just block all of them.

Just got a ring on my phone from this number. Some bloke said his name was Daniel and he was calling from Review and Compare. I asked him to say that again so I could jot it down. He said it was about my current life insurance policy. I asked which policy he meant. He said any life insurance I had. I don’t have any, but I kept that to myself. I told him straight out that cold calls are illegal and this was one. Then I said "goodbye," but even after I hung up, I could still hear him insisting it wasn’t a cold call. Let’s see what the ICO makes of this.
