Got a ring from 03336780410 while I was driving, so I didn’t pick up. Later, I called back and ended up on some automated system with an American accent. Here’s my rule: if they don’t say who they are straight away, I just hang up and block the number. If it really matters, they’ll either leave a message or email me if I know the company. I get that telesales is a tough job and most people really don’t like making those calls. Maybe these big telesales firms should do a prize draw - like a free car or something - but only let people enter if they take a certain number of calls. And please, just leave the rest of us in peace! When I’m old and lonely at 95, I might actually answer then!
