Loads of folks don’t even know you can mess around with your call settings like I do. I type in every single number one by one, starting with something like 03334439683, then I keep going by switching the last digit from 80 up to 90. If this happens again, you might want to say something like when they ask for Mr/Mrs/Miss so-and-so, tell them the call has been redirected to xxxx police station as they’re checking everyone on that person’s contacts in a current case. Then ask why they’ve got the caller’s number and mention it’s being tracked. Add that an officer will contact them soon. Or just say, sorry, that person isn’t with us anymore.

They just rang me AGAIN from that 9683 number - These idiots have phoned me like 4 times and messed up my meeting (thought it was my daughter calling). I even left the room to pick up, only to see that damn number again. I've HAD IT WITH THEM. Blocked about 6 numbers so far!! Complete muppets!

This is just the newest one in a whole stream of similar calls. 9681 rang me a few days back - got blocked straight away. Then 9682 phoned yesterday - also blocked. 9683 called today, and guess what? Blocked again. They always ring about 2pm-ish. The first two were from energy company sales reps. Didn't bother picking up today’s call, just blocked it. Pretty sure 9684 will pop up tomorrow. Do they seriously think after I've blocked them three times that I'm gonna answer the fourth? Honestly, they must be joking.

Loads of calls coming through from numbers that only differ by the final digit. Got a few voicemail messages saying they were from Bulb energy, plus some calls where they didn’t leave anything. I’m just blocking all of them since they keep switching the numbers. Honestly, no idea what they think they’re achieving with this. If it’s actually Bulb, it’s not doing their image any favours, and if it’s scammers pretending, they’re just annoying everyone and wasting time.

Got a call from 03334439683 on a number ending in 9682 earlier today. It was the same as a previous call, just left a voicemail saying “you don’t need to do anything more”. Looks like they’ve got loads of numbers like this. Proper annoying. Starting to get really frustrated now!! 😡🤯

Loads of 0333 443 9683 and other 0333 numbers keep calling me but I just don’t pick up. After googling to see what these numbers are about, I honestly think they’re some of the worst scum out there. Bulb's quite a large company, so it seems unlikely they'd swap out phone numbers every day and keep calling from different lines like that. This kind of behaviour is something scammers often do. I'd suggest anyone getting these calls report them to the police or NFIB through Action Fraud. Just google 'Action Fraud', go to the 'police.uk' site, and click on the 'reporting' tab at the top. Make sure to mark it as a phishing scam. If you’re a Bulb customer, it’s probably a good idea to let them know what’s going on in their name and that you’ve reported it to Action Fraud too.
