This bloke called Keiron phoned me, claimed he’s from Scottish Widows and wanted to chat about my policy. He said he was checking if everything was alright with it, I told him there’s no way since I haven’t paid a penny into it for years. Then, just like that, the line went dead.

Someone rang saying they were from Royal London Life insurance, doing a yearly check-up on my policy. They asked me stuff like if I smoke, how many kids I have, and my monthly payments. When I told them I needed to check first and would ring Royal London back, they just ended the call.

I had this call and spent about 15 mins talking to them even tho I knew it was a scam cause I was checking stuff on my laptop. The scary part is they had loads of my details. If they’re able to mess with a bank’s phone number, who knows what else they could get into next.

I spent about 15 minutes chatting to them, fully aware it was a scam after looking it up on my laptop. What really creeps me out is how much they seem to know about me. If they’ve managed to fake a bank’s phone number, who knows what they’ll try to access next. Don’t just block these calls, make sure you report them so they can be stopped from tricking some vulnerable pensioner or someone else. They’re just terrible people taking advantage of innocent folks.

Got a call about life insurance again, just one in a long line. Told them to take me off their list. Right after I mentioned I don’t have any, the mood shifted instantly and they just hung up, haha. Pretty obvious it’s a scam.

Sage Financial called me and made it seem like it was an official call from Legal & General the other day. I blocked them, but today they managed to get through again. I told them I wanted to be taken off their list, but the woman on the phone was really rude. Even if they had a good offer, I wouldn’t want to deal with such pushy, disrespectful people. I’m planning to report them to L&G anonymously after they finally admitted, after I asked three times, that they’re not actually calling from L&G but trying to find me a better deal with another company.

He claimed to have found one for £10 a month, but I told him I’m already paying £8 a month. So I asked him to explain why I’d want to pay £10 instead of £8? Like, seriously, do the maths yourself - why pay more when you’re already paying less?
