When I inquired who was on the line, they jumped to the conclusion that I was the person they were after. I’m content with my current policies and the payments I'm making; any adjustments I need to address will be handled directly with the respective companies, thank you very much. They promptly hung up on me, so I recommend blocking the number.

Annoying call from a woman with an Indian accent. She claimed she could offer me a better deal on my Aviva life insurance. I said I wasn't aware I even had one. She then said, "Alright, if you don’t have one, sorry about that." I asked her why she called about my Aviva policy if she thought I had one and where she got my details from. I wanted to know which policy she meant. In the end, she just hung up on me instead of explaining. Another one to add to the block list.

Gold Life Insurance, honestly, i asked the woman to say the company name a couple of times to check if it was the same. Told her upfront I wasn’t interested and asked her to take my number off. She tried pushing the sale again, so I had to say it loud and clear, “delete my number.” She then claimed it wasn’t necessary, but my phone flagged her as a scammer so frankly I wasn’t bothered about what she was selling. Kept telling her to delete my number a few times then just ended the call.

I could tell my answers were being repeated back, so the call was clearly recorded, but they never said that upfront. I ended the call as I felt uneasy giving out any more info. Since then, I’ve had no contact from L&G about any policy review.
