I got a call from someone claiming they were with an independent firm doing home insurance comparisons. Right from the start, their questions seemed a bit dodgy. After supposedly finding a good offer, they asked for my bank info. I told them to send the details through the post instead, then they got quite rude and said they'd just look me up online anyway. Definitely watch out for these sorts of calls!
