Today at 12.53, this number rang me just as my neighbour was calling me back. It's almost like some businesses have found a way to tap into my phone line. I've spoken at length with BT about it, but they don’t seem to care much. It feels like going back to the 1950s when phone lines were shared by multiple households. Whenever I try to use my phone, there’s someone else connected, and I have to fiddle with the handset button to get the line free. I’ve now asked BT to give me a new number, and if they refuse, well, it's goodbye BT from me.

Apparently, breaking TPS rules remains too lucrative for them, even with fines reaching five figures. Now, the management hides behind these shell marketing firms and dodge questions about who’s actually calling. I’m on the TPS list myself, and the same girl from that number had previously tried the usual fake story: ‘we just check if you’ve...’ - all complete rubbish. This number has been blowing up my phone, like 7 times a day for a few weeks now. They usually ask if I’m up for answering some questions, but then it switches to stuff about solar panels or PPI claims. It’s really annoying, especially since we’ve got ill parents to care for. I never share my number with anyone except my folks. What’s weird is they call us by strange names, not our real ones, so if they’re trying to reach us, why don’t they just use the right names? Honestly, it’s all very odd.

Their registered office is listed as c/o Scottish Tax Bureau, 94 Hope Street, Glasgow, G2 6PH, and they’re registered in Scotland under SC473983. Interestingly, Rst Heating and Plumbing operates out of the same address. If you want to annoy them a bit, try flooding their mailbox with loads of unpaid letters or keep ringing their 0800 118 2068 freephone line constantly - Royal Mail or the phone provider foots the bill on their end. Might be fun to see how they deal with that!

For a while now, we've been getting constant calls from a bunch of dodgy energy firms. I've had to block over 5 different numbers already, all from these scam energy companies pestering us non stop.

Twice today, I’ve had calls from these lot asking for the person who owns the house. I told them I’m on the TPS list and they should take me off their calling list. Then, they claimed this wasn’t a sales call but some sort of ‘information’ call, saying that means they don’t have to follow TPS rules! When I asked what the info was, they said it was about solar panels. Honestly, unless you’re looking to buy solar panels, I wouldn’t bother answering!
