While the proposed tightening of regulations might help to cut down on these nuisance calls, I can't fathom why BT don’t just block them altogether. Havent had this number ring me (01263761611) but since i live in Cromer, Norfolk, its obviously local, not from abroad or anything. Ive been getting loads of dodgy calls from people claiming to be PE or something, mostly from India tho. Asked my mate who does computers about it and he reckons microsoft windows would never ring people up like that, and defo wouldnt ask for personal info or try to get into your PC. So watch out, could be a scam!
