Just looked it up and the number popped up as financial solutions, but it went straight to voicemail. Says it’s an O2 line and my phone flagged it as a scam. Really annoying - I haven’t even called and I’ve had four calls from it already today!

They claim to be with o2, but my phone flags it as possible spam. They keep leaving the exact same voicemail saying something like, ‘You will receive a call today from o2, we’re sorry we missed you. Please press one if you want to stop getting calls from us…’ Its pretty annoying really.

This number is fine. It’s been used before, but currently belongs to a proper Claims Management Company located in Bournemouth. They don’t do any cold calling or anything like that.

That 03333441403 is actually the customer service line for Financial Claims Consultants, a Claims Management Company I'm a director of. We're regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We got this number about a year ago to use as a freephone helpline. Usually, we don’t ring anyone from this number unless we've cleared it with our clients beforehand. I got a call from a guy named Noel claiming to be from "Green Energy Advisory". When I asked him about the company's address, he couldn't give me a straight answer. I told him to stop calling as I’m on the TPS, but he said the number just popped up on his caller ID. I doubt I’ll hear from them again though.

Got a random ring on my ex-directory landline from someone pushing “free solar advice cause of gov grants. No pressure to buy, free surveyor report” they kept banging on about it being free and no hard sell, then they sent me to a manager to confirm but the call just dropped. Since then it’s been nonstop hassle. The whole thing sounded exactly like that BBC doc on call centres, even heard them shouting “I’ve got one” getting all excited. I’d steer clear of these lot, I’m thinking of reporting them to trading standards.

Since August 2014 they've been calling me daily, both day and night. It's definitely a scam. They claim to be from A.V.G Internet Security and use the number 0800 810 1016. A woman named Sharon even told me they cleaned up my computer's disk, then said I had to pay £249.99. I went ahead and paid, but BT later told me it was a scam. I only paid because they threatened that my computer wouldn’t work otherwise.

I just got a ring from this number. A really upbeat woman answered with a bright "Hello!" I replied with a cautious "Hello?" She repeated it all cheerfully again, "Hello!!" I said "Hello?" once more.
