I really believed it was legit when they said they were from Currys. They told me I'd get an upgrade on my phone (an iPhone) and then asked for my card info to do a credit check. I gave it to them, but after realising they weren’t the people they claimed to be, I reported my card to HSBC. Feeling a bit daft now, but it all looked proper, plus they messaged me on WhatsApp which felt off. Hopefully giving my details won’t cause any problems.

Someone tried to sell me a phone deal that was way too cheap, felt a bit dodgy but not 100% sure.

This number keeps ringing me up with offers for mobile deals, so I’m sharing it here to warn others. I’ve clearly put my details down to avoid any sales calls on two separate accounts, but they just ignore that. When you tell them off, they can get quite aggressive and it’s really frustrating. I get that they probably have a legit service to sell, but it’s annoying that my no-call requests aren’t respected at all.
