Got a ring from Inhealth today, they were sorting out an appointment for the endoscopy department, seemed totally above board to me.

This isn’t a scam at all, it’s the booking number for InHealth group (and also Prime Endoscopy). They ring you to arrange an appointment for a procedure your doctor or hospital has referred you to. I actually work for InHealth and it’s frustrating because people often mistake these calls for scams from the reviews I read here. Honestly, it’s legit. You can check them out yourself at https://www.inhealthgroup.com/

So, InHealth patient care team called me about an appointment my GP had sent me to. At first, I thought it might be a scam, but turns out it's legit. They’re actually part of NHS bookings.

Absolutely pointless phone call, just a total waste of my time.

I got a letter from inheaith so I know this number is legit and I phoned them before. But today they called and left no voicemail, so I didn’t bother ringing back since I already have an appointment. It’s a bit odd tho that some people are saying they got calls from them even though their gp never sent them a referral.

I got a text telling me to ring this number about an appointment with inhealthgroup[F##], which apparently my GP had sent me to. This was news to me and my GP’s office too. After getting a second message, I called the number and found out it was indeed a legit referral straight from the hospital for a repeat colonoscopy I’d had done 4 years ago. The appointment is now sorted. It’d be good if they made things a bit clearer so others don’t miss important notices like this.

Got a text saying something about NHS booking? It said something like “your GP’s referral is ready to be booked, but there’s only a few slots open in the next couple weeks. To get the soonest appointment ring the patient centre and give them the reference number.” I wasn’t expecting any appointment so I just ignored it, but I can see how it might stress some people out.

Total scam, please don't bother calling.

I got a call from some place called patient care centre claiming my gp sent me their way, but that's total rubbish. My gp hasn’t asked me to see anyone else at all. They wanted me to call a certain number to book an appointment, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Don’t fall for it!
