Today, I received a call from someone claiming to be from Sky, saying they were dispatching an engineer to set up a phone line on Friday, 20th December, during the hours of 8am to 1pm. However, I haven't made any such request with Sky. They warned me that if the engineer can't get into my property, I might be hit with a £65 fine. This whole situation is quite alarming, and I'm considering reporting it to the police, especially since I've also received multiple texts with the same information. In some of those messages, they even mentioned a name of a chap who certainly doesn't reside here.
