Got a call from this number today, asking about some housing issues. Once I told them it wasn't anything to do with them, they just hung up on me.

Didn't pick up when a number I didn't recognise called. They never bothered to leave a voicemail either.

Got a call earlier but no voicemail or anything, seems like one of those spam calls to me.

This individual pretended to be a solicitor and was attempting to obtain my personal information.

They provided a number to call back for more details. It’s definitely a con, as I haven’t purchased anything. I promptly ended the call.

The chap on the line knew I was a Sky customer and was trying to convince me to settle an outstanding payment via phone, providing my bank details. Remarkably, he quoted the exact amount I owed. He suggested I settle my debt and set up a direct debit arrangement. However, I quickly realised it was a scam when he requested personal details such as my date of birth, home address, and account password to verify my identity as the account holder. To end the conversation politely, I informed him I couldn’t process the payment that day and asked him to ring me back in a couple of days.
