Got a annoying call earlier, some bloke was asking for a woman I've never heard of. Maybe they've called before but I just hung up every time. This time I picked up thinking it was from my phone provider, 3 or something. No idea where they got my number from. Isn't cold calling banned these days anyway? Seems dodgy to me.

She called, saying something about a quick chat about a car incident. I didn’t let her get any further and just ended the call straight away. Funny thing is, she actually asked for me by name. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Same here, i never pick up calls like this. Looks like an auto dialer that waits till it hears a real voice before it does anything, just like many others said. They only start getting going once you talk, thats how they work.

Had no clue who was calling, sounded like one of those auto-diallers with a lag before the call started. The background noise was pretty obvious, but the caller’s voice came through all weird and scratchy. Definitely adding this one straight to my block list.
