I received an unexpected call that was clearly pre-recorded, filled with automated messages and replies.

They profess to be a squad specialising in home renovations and repairs!

It seems that this is some sort of maintenance team working under the auspices of a Council tenancy association. While that could be quite beneficial, I actually own my house. They were rather elusive when I inquired about which council or area they represented. When I pressed the gentleman for my address and postcode to verify his claims, he abruptly ended the call. He had a rather refined manner of speaking, which made him seem credible at first glance, but once you dig a little deeper, it all feels a bit dodgy.

I received a call from a rather eloquent woman named Sarah who inquired about any issues I might be having with my accommodation. I informed her that I had no such concerns, to which she replied politely before promptly disconnecting the call.

I suspect this might be a dodgy operation. A woman named Sara claimed to be from a housing disrepair team, but honestly, her voice had this robotic quality that set off my alarm bells. Since I’m a homeowner, it feels quite suspect to me. Definitely doesn't sit right!

I had a rather strange phone call that claimed to be from my housing association. However, as soon as I mentioned that my issue wasn't related to black mould or any kind of cracks, they abruptly ended the call. Curious, I rang them back to inquire which housing association had supposedly hired them for their surveys. It quickly dawned on me that these were just cold callers from some "compliance" firm, attempting to fish for tenants' grievances to rake in commissions from compensation claims. Quite the con, if you ask me!

I received a rather dodgy call regarding some housing issue, and the moment I was met with that robotic voice, I realised it was not relevant to me. I promptly ended the call. I suggest you do likewise!

I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a rather robotic voice inquiring about whether I had any issues with mould or damp in my home. When I replied that I had neither, they shifted gears and wanted to know what sort of problems I did have. I simply told them there were no concerns at all, to which I received a courteous reply before they abruptly disconnected. The whole interaction felt rather dodgy, if I'm honest.

I received a rather peculiar call from some robotic female voice who identified herself as Sarah, supposedly representing a Housing Repair service. I informed her that I had no problems to report and inquired about the company she was working for. Shortly after my question, she abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I usually wouldn't pick up the phone, but having recently bought a speakerphone, I couldn't resist giving it a whirl. I ended up having a lovely natter until the banter took over, and I found myself in fits of laughter before I abruptly ended the call. What a delightful way to try out my new gadget!

I’m situated in Irvine, Ayrshire, and I just got a rather unsolicited call. The lady on the line introduced herself as Sarah from the housing disrepair team, claiming she was following up on an issue with my accommodation. I didn't waste any time; I hung up and promptly blocked the number!

I’ve noticed that I’ve been receiving several missed calls from this number. So, I decided to ring them back using a different phone. When they picked up, I mentioned that I had missed their call. They responded by stating they were from Housing Needs regarding some issues with housing. Completely baffled, I asked what housing problems they were referring to and who they were, at which point, they suddenly cut off the call. Quite odd, really!

I received a call from a rather articulate lady named Sarah, who was inquiring about some housing issues that I simply don’t have. After a quick chat, I decided to cut the conversation short and promptly blocked her number.

I had a similar experience! The person who called me wasn’t Sarah at all - it was a bloke. The message sounded familiar, mentioning something about my “recent housing dilemma.” I told him he’d dialled the wrong number, and he abruptly hung up without uttering a word. If only I had known it was a scam, I might have played along for a bit of fun!

I received a phone call from someone who claimed they were reaching out regarding the housing difficulties I've been facing. When I probed a bit into the nature of their call, I was asked to hold while they transferred me to another colleague to discuss my concerns in detail. The initial caller was quite articulate, but the second gentleman had a noticeable Asian accent. I made it clear that I was not fooled by this being a legitimate inquiry and instructed them not to ring this number again. If it were a genuine matter, I would have anticipated being contacted through the standard channels I usually use with my landlord. To be honest, I can’t say what happened next as I cut the conversation short before giving them a chance to elaborate.
