This is absolutely not World Pay! Don’t fall for any good reviews from others. I’ve been with World Pay for over 14 years, and this isn’t how they get in touch with their clients. I know this because when I signed up, they insisted on having the business phone number on file and never call any other number that isn’t registered. 03308089283 keeps ringing me, sometimes it’s once, sometimes thrice every day. I work in a hectic office and it’s so frustrating to answer and have the person just hang up straight away! What a complete waste of time!!!

Possibly they’re linked to Worldpay, but that’s no reason to be ringing up nearly every day and then no one actually picks up when you finally manage to answer. I used to deal with Worldpay but switched over, then suddenly got loads of calls from some Irish lot who were quite rude and kept pestering us about finishing their compliance process. This number surely seems like just another annoying call mixed with Worldpay’s sloppy record keeping.

Worldpay regulations are strict. Anyone accepting card payments must comply and get a certificate. Ive just renewed mine but still get loads of calls that cut off before I pick up. Big company but terrible customer support. Ive ended up cancelling my Worldpay account and now use Zettle through Paypal instead.

Definitely a scam - they rang our new landline which isn’t connected to any of our bank accounts or anything. Didn’t even bother asking for ‘Mr X’, just launched straight into saying they were from Worldpay PCI and needed card details for compliance. No way! I just said no thanks and ended the call.
