Got a call on my phone with them asking for me by name, when I asked who it was they said UK Finance. I told them I wasn’t interested but they kept pushing so I just ended the call. Definitely scammers trying to get your info and cash…. DON’T SHARE ANYTHING with them to stay safe.

I just got a call from this number, but didn’t really get to talk to anyone. At the very start, I caught what sounded like “he’s in” before it went completely silent. When I glanced outside, there was a small silver Mercedes with the last three letters looking like JFX(?). The driver then quickly started up and drove off. I reckon they might’ve been checking out the house or maybe my car, since we usually have another vehicle on the driveway. This all happened in Liverpool. When I called the number back, an automated voice said it was from the “motor after care helpline” and offered only one option to not get calls again.

They pretended to be from FSCS, but they're definitely not. When I said I worked for FSCS, the woman turned quite nasty and just ended the call! Watch out, they're rude and dishonest.

Proper clever con artist from Liverpool, said he was with LV, my insurance lot, dealing with a crash from last year that’s all sorted now. Said I could get a "Category C" pay-out from the other party for injury and all that. At first, I believed him since he knew a lot, but I was suspicious. When I asked why he didn’t have my email, which is definitely on my LV account, he just ended the call. Found this site and blocked the number now.

Got a call from some bloke with a Liverpool accent, said he was from LV, my insurer who sorted out a crash I had last year - which was all wrapped up. Then he started going on about me being eligible for some "Category C" payout from the third party for personal injury or something. He knew loads of info and nearly had me convinced, but something felt off. When I questioned why he didn’t have my email (which is definitely on my LV profile), he just ended the call. Obviously, I’ve blocked the number now.

Someone rang saying they were from my insurance and that another company wanted to sort out a compensation claim from a crash I had last year. I told them the repairs were covered, I wasn't hurt, and no payout was needed. They insisted I must've been shaken up and taking meds, but I said no way, and that bogus claims just hike up our premiums. Then I asked how much they said I’d get, they said £1800. I asked who they were to be meddling in this, and they said they were a solicitor. I told them to shove off, I’m straightforward and expect the same. This isn’t the first time since the accident; they’ve called me about five times now and I always get quite blunt telling them to buzz off. Honestly, I wish more people stood their ground like I do.

Geordie bloke called my old landline, had all my info, like where I live and the postcode. Claimed he was working for SFCS, which I think was meant to be FSCS, saying he was from the UK Financial Services Compensation scheme, asking about missold mortgages or some sort of mortgage check. I could hear the telly in the background and a baby crying. He sounded proper convincing but I didn’t trust it, so I had a look up the number.

Just got a call from someone with a Scouse accent saying they were from RTA legal. They actually used my maiden name, which is odd since I've been married for 8 years. They asked if I had any updates about my accident, I told them I don’t know what accident they meant and then they just ended the call.
