Seems like LV passed on my number after I made a motor claim, just like loads of other folks. I told them I wasn’t actually in the car when the accident happened, and they just hung up.

Got a similar dodgy call like the one on 27th Sept 2018. The person was clued up about my car insurance claim, claimed to be from LV and pushed for a personal injury claim. They even gave me a number to call back - 07392730295. I rang LV straight away and they said nothing about this. Be careful, don’t fall for it! How on earth do these scammers get hold of so much of your details?!

Got a call from some claims firm about an accident that never happened to me! They just cut me off as soon as I asked them what accident they were on about.

I usually dont pick up unknown numbers but been expecting a call about Vauxhall so I answered. It was one of them automated things - didnt quite hear which company it was from, then got a message saying all operators are busy. Ended the call and blocked the number.

This number rang me a minute ago, I answered with a simple hello and the person just said hello back. Then I caught something about Real Madrid but couldn’t really make it out so I asked him to repeat. He just said “what” again, so I told him whatever and ended the call. I’m on the TPS, so don’t get why I’m still getting these random calls. Another one straight to blocked!

Got a call from this number about a car crash I had more than seven months ago. They said they were from Swindon Insurance based in Manchester. Once I brought up the data protection laws and the TPS, they turned really nasty. This is at least the twelfth call I’ve had about this recently. I even contacted the TPS and they basically told me there’s nothing they can do. What a pointless situation all round.

Liverpool Victoria, supposedly. They rang me about an accident I was involved in and said there was some "missing paperwork" for the claim. The thing is, I am insured with LV, and that case is well and truly sorted and closed. So if this person is really from LV, how come they dont already have all the info? It's like there’s some kinda alternate reality happening here. DOH.
