I had this chap with an Indian accent who just wouldn't take the hint; he bombarded me with no less than eight calls! He was convinced I was due some compensation from a supposed car crash I'd been involved in. Apparently, he was representing the Accident Investigations Unit or some such nonsense. Then, he had the cheek to request my bank information! That’s when I wisely decided to end the conversation.

Had a car crash a couple months ago. Got a call saying "You’re entitled to compensation from the other party." I asked who exactly and he gave me the other car’s info. Told him my case was already sorted and he switched to asking about a personal injury claim. Told him that was being dealt with and then he started humming a tune to me. Thought I must be hearing things but after reading some of the other replies here, it’s clear they're just dodgy idiots.

Legal advice place called me asking "how’s the weather over there?" I could hear loads of giggling in the background, and when I told them I wasn’t interested, they started making silly noises like kids. It was some sort of accident advice line. Told them twice already I’m not interested and to quit ringing me, but the numpty on the other end just said ‘sorry, computer says no’. Still get loads of calls every day. Blocked the number but they somehow manage to leave voicemails anyway. Proper annoying!

Called from some “legal advice centre”, proper spam and annoying. He didn’t even get the car reg right that I was driving. Once he sussed I wasn’t falling for it, he started going on about loving donkeys and claimed he’s got my address and will come round later. Proper creepy!

Really awful and disrespectful service, I wasn’t making any claims and when I said that, he went on about me drink driving, called me naughty and started shouting at me. Then he just hung up.
