Received a call purporting to be from O2, suggesting a lovely 30% off my bill. Oddly enough, they insisted that there'd be no alterations to my contract itself. I kindly mentioned that my contract was due for a revamp shortly, so I wasn't interested, thank you very much. The chap then insisted, “I’m not changing your contract,” which made it clear he wasn’t quite following my line of reasoning. The background noise was quite overwhelming, leading me to suspect they were ringing from abroad.

I received a call claiming to be from O2's customer service, where the caller was touting a lovely 50% discount as a reward for my loyalty, given I’ve been with them for more than five years. Nearly fell for it! However, it struck me as odd when he requested my O2 account details-surely he'd already have that information? It was evident he was up to no good, trying to fish for my contract information. Always best to be cautious!
