I’ve been getting a few calls recently, all just dead silence at first. When I rang back thinking it might be a client, turns out it was some automated message about motor assistance or something along those lines. Today my wife picked up instead, and they told her I’d supposedly been in an accident. I was actually out driving my van then, so it stressed her out a bit. The number isn’t a proper landline, more like a broadband line with a code that makes it seem like one.

I received a call from this number claiming to be O2, the phone service provider, offering me a rather generous 40% discount on my bill.

Received a phone call, but the moment I picked up, they disconnected. I attempted to ring back, only to be met with a mysterious voicemail that I couldn't place. I'm inclined to think it’s a dodgy robocall operation, perhaps with not enough fraudsters on hand to take your return call.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with O2, touting a rather enticing 40% discount. They texted me a code and asked for it, but I must stress - do NOT share that code! It's a scam aimed at gaining entry to your account. Stay vigilant!
