I've noticed that this number has been billing me £4.50 each week for the past five weeks, and I haven't the faintest idea who they are or what I supposedly signed up for. My phone statement indicates it's related to video downloads, but I can assure you, I haven't downloaded a single video! Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

O2 customer support gave me this number to try and sort out a refund coz I got charged £18 for a service I never agreed to. Feels like a total rip-off, and O2 aren't doing much to assist or stop these scammers from carrying on. I'm now going to report this to the PSA. Not sure if I'll actually get my money back, but fingers crossed that if enough people complain, the PSA will either shut these scammers down or get them prosecuted.

For ages now, I've been puzzled by the soaring charges on my phone bill! Just yesterday, I discovered that this company has been siphoning funds from my Tesco account, even after I’d texted them before to say I wasn't keen. Has anyone managed to reclaim any money from them?

Got a message from Trivia Winner saying I’m signed up for 4.50 a week. It told me to reply 'STOP' to cancel, so I did. Then I called my mobile provider who told me the same thing but also set up a block for premium texts just in case. Fingers crossed that sorts it out. If not, I might have to either switch my number or get a new provider altogether.

I've had a couple of these calls lately! Not sure how to block them though, and I’m a bit wary of replying to the number they give. Any advice?

I find myself unable to send a reply with the word “STOP.” What’s the procedure for halting these charges?

Total rip-off! Got a message saying they were charging me £4.50 every month for a subscription I never signed up for. Told my bank about it straight away, and they sorted it by refunding the money and blocking any future payments. If you get something like this, just do the same. Don't bother replying to their texts or calls.

Trivia Winners is this quiz thing where you can win prizes. They use a shared shortcode number, 66299, which other businesses also use. The cost? It’s £4.50 per week, VAT included. Since it’s billed via a shared shortcode, you might see other charges from different companies using the same number.

I also use Just Eat and got stung for £4.50 once. Tried to text STOP to cancel and it charged me 10p! I’m never ordering through them again. I’m too scared to ring 0330332654 in case it’s a premium rate number. So frustrating!

My daughter believed she’d signed up for a contest, then suddenly got this message. We’ve tried everything but can’t seem to make them quit bothering us.

I recently participated in a competition, but to my dismay, I've started getting charged £4.50 every week for a subscription I never wanted in the first place. It's infuriating and feels utterly deceitful-it's almost criminal! I've tried unsubscribing using the number provided, but it's been absolutely useless.

I’ve unwittingly found myself in the same predicament! Every time I try to send a STOP text, it just doesn’t seem to go through. I’m too wary to call the number directly. Could anyone lend a hand and advise me on the best course of action?

I recently got a message from Asda, which I initially assumed was the real deal. However, I've just learned that I'll be charged £4.50 each week! Does anyone know how I can put a stop to this?

Has anyone actually had any luck ringing 03303326254 to get back money they wrongly took from your account? Reading the reviews here doesn’t really give me much hope. Also, the 66299 number they told me to text STOP to looked dodgy, didn’t go through at all - felt like a scam to me.

Blimey, I’ve just had a similar experience, and I can’t help but feel rather foolish about it all. I’ve shot off an email to them, insisting they put an end to this nonsense right away, as the whole STOP text thing has proven ineffective. I’m not too eager to give that 03 number a whirl, either. I also came across some advice suggesting that reaching out to my mobile provider to block third-party services might do the trick, so I plan on trying that first thing in the morning. It’s incredibly frustrating, and I can’t shake off this feeling of embarrassment!

I received a rather dodgy text from this number claiming I've signed up for a subscription, and they intend to charge me £4.50 each month! They've included a “reply STOP” option, but that didn't work at all! I'm definitely not calling the number, as it sounds like a potential scam!

Got a weird message out of nowhere with some password, saying to just ignore if it wasn’t meant for me. Fast forward, I ended up being charged over £13 and now they’re claiming I signed up for some service. Problem is, I never signed up for anything like that, so now I’m stuck trying to get a refund.

Got a strange text this morning out of nowhere saying I’d been signed up to something and it’d cost me £4.50 per message. Told them STOP like it said to stop it, but I haven’t got any sort of message back to confirm I’m unsubscribed or anything. Proper annoying!

I entered some competition for Costa Coffee and got sent a code, but then I ended up signed up for some Domicoins deal. They said £4.50 would be taken from my bank through my phone. When I tried to cancel, they told me to ring 03303326254 which turned out to be dodgy. What a complete muppet move!

I've come across SmartQuiz. Just a heads up, they’re charging £4.50 every week from my mobile account. I’ve tried sending a STOP text, but I’m also going to reach out to my service provider to get this sorted.
