Picked up the phone, heard another phone ringing in the background then the call got dropped.

I’ve counted and this number called me 19 times just today alone. It’s a total scam, they claimed to be from o2 and mentioned something about giving me a tablet if I upgraded. But they asked for my card details to do it, which seemed dodgy.

Got a missed call from this number, looked it up and looks like it's O2, probably about upgrades. As far as I know, I'm not eligible for any upgrade right now. Honestly, I dunno what they’d even upgrade for me? Also, I’m still waiting for an SMS to say my O2 account is closed, so I don’t plan on ringing them back.

I got a couple of calls over the last few days but couldn’t pick up. They didn’t leave a voicemail. Then just now they rang again so I answered. The person said they were calling for O2. They wanted me to confirm my name but I refused and told them if they were genuine they’d already know it. I said I wouldn’t chat unless I’d verified their number first and told them to call back in about an hour. After checking with O2, at first they said the number wasn’t theirs, but after looking into it more they confirmed that the call was legitimate and they do work for O2.

I got a call from a company working for O2 checking up on my data usage and what plan I'm on. They weren’t pushy or anything and were pretty nice when I told them I wasn’t interested. Later on, I got texts straight from O2 asking how the call went, so I’m sure it was a proper call.
