Over the last few days, I've received three or four calls from this number. Luckily, my phone blocks them since I figured it might be some sort of scam or dodgy call. Just a few minutes ago, I saw there was a voicemail from them, but when I played it, there was nothing - just dead silence. I tried to ring them back, but couldn’t get through, then it hit me that this was probably another scam or fraud attempt.

Honestly, I wouldn’t answer if I were you. This lot have been ringing me nonstop for like a week straight. Even after I blocked the number, they somehow keep getting through. Just a bunch of annoying nuisance calls meant to bother people. Make sure to block this number as well.

Got a call about renewing some life insurance policy, but it felt dodgy from the start. They kept mentioning an old postcode and when I asked questions about my own policy, they wouldn’t give clear answers - wouldn’t say when it was set up or even what area that postcode was supposed to be in, even though they threw it out there themselves. I got a call from someone saying they were checking up on life insurance. When I asked which provider they were from, the woman said they represent several big companies and listed some. Then she asked which one I had. I told her she probably should know, since she was the one who called me! I mentioned I was busy at work and couldn’t chat. She said she’d ring me again, but I told her I’d reach out to my insurance company myself. She kept insisting she’d prefer to call me back, but I just hung up.

My elderly mum, who’s 84, got a call saying she had to pay a bill otherwise she’d be taken to court. I rang them back, gave her name and they suddenly said she was owed a tax refund but had to pay some fees first. How do these scumbags even live with themselves? Absolutely disgusting.
