This number has been bugging me non-stop with what I’m sure are scam calls. I blocked it ages ago but they just keep trying to get through. Every time they ring, the call gets automatically blocked and if it goes to voicemail, they never bother leaving a message. I’ve received roughly three or four calls from this number over the last few days. Thankfully, my phone manages to block them, as they seem rather dodgy and likely a scam. Just a short while ago, I noticed I had a voice message waiting, but upon listening, it was nothing but silence. I attempted to return the call, but was met with a refusal, which is when it dawned on me that it might be one of those fraudulent calls.

I wouldn't waste your time answering these calls. This lot have been ringing incessantly for more than a week. Even though I've blocked the number, they still keep on calling. It's nothing but a pesky annoyance, clearly aimed at troubling folks. Do yourself a favour and just block them!

Got a call about renewing some life insurance policy, but it felt dodgy from the start. They kept mentioning an old postcode and when I asked questions about my own policy, they wouldn’t give clear answers - wouldn’t say when it was set up or even what area that postcode was supposed to be in, even though they threw it out there themselves. Definitely a scam. I ended up stringing them along for ages, probably over 5 minutes just wasting their time. Felt good to mess with them a bit!

I got a call from someone saying they were checking up on life insurance. When I asked which provider they were from, the woman said they represent several big companies and listed some. Then she asked which one I had. I told her she probably should know, since she was the one who called me! I mentioned I was busy at work and couldn’t chat. She said she’d ring me again, but I told her I’d reach out to my insurance company myself. She kept insisting she’d prefer to call me back, but I just hung up.

Got a call where the person knew my full name and my postcode. They said they were checking on life insurance to make sure it would pay out properly. When I asked which company they were from, they rattled off loads of well-known firms and said they work with them all to verify payouts. My elderly mum, who’s 84, got a call saying she had to pay a bill otherwise she’d be taken to court. I rang them back, gave her name and they suddenly said she was owed a tax refund but had to pay some fees first. How do these scumbags even live with themselves? Absolutely disgusting.
