They addressed me by my first name, which I found rather odd. Claiming to have gotten my details from some housing tenancy organisation in London, they wanted to verify if I was indeed a tenant. I cheekily retorted that the only tenant I recognised was David Tenant from Doctor Who. After a polite chat, I thanked them for their call and promptly hung up, blocking the number in the process. Although I know it's a bit of a pointless endeavour since they'll likely ring me from a different line next time. Rest assured, I won't be nearly as courteous in future encounters!

I inquired whether they were aware that their number was freely available for all to see as a spam contact. The response was a fit of laughter, and the lady remarked, “You could’ve simply mentioned that you weren’t keen!”

I received my first call on the 12th of May from a number that ended in 453. I picked up, but didn’t utter a word, and they promptly disconnected. Since that day, I’ve had another call on the same date from a number ending in 454, and just moments ago, one with the last digits 457. I've chosen to ignore these recent attempts, as they haven’t bothered to leave any voicemails. It’s quite disconcerting to receive this barrage of calls, especially since many legitimate local government calls also commence with the 0330 prefix.

They keep pestering me about a Mr Whiteman. I've told them repeatedly to remove my information from their records since I'm definitely not Mr Whiteman, yet they just won't take the hint. So, I end up blocking their number, but then they just ring me up from a different line. It’s like a never-ending nuisance!

Received a call purporting to be from the "Housing Team". Just another dodgy scammer, if you ask me. When I answered, I threw in a name, Mr. Will Hangon, and asked the caller to hold on for a jiffy... I then set the phone down on the desk and sat back. A full minute and four seconds later, she decided to hang up. Normally, they don't exhibit that sort of patience for long! I reckon that's a new record for me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it, of course.
