The caller only mentioned my first name. They claimed to have gotten my details from some housing tenants' group in London and asked if I was a tenant there. I just replied that the only tenant I knew was David Tenant from Doctor Who. I thanked them for their call and then ended the call before blocking the number. Not that it does much good, since they'll probably ring from another number next time. But next time, I’m definitely not going to be as friendly!

I told them their number is all over the internet showing they’re just spam, and then the woman laughed and said, “you could’ve just said no thanks.”

On the 12th of May, I got a call from a number ending in 453. When I picked up, I stayed silent and they just hung up straight away. Then, on the same day, a call came from a number ending in 454, which I didn’t pick up. Today, the 16th, I noticed another missed call from a number ending 457. None of these callers have left any voicemail. It’s a bit creepy how these similar numbers keep calling, especially since many official local council calls also begin with the 0330 code.

They keep ringin me lookin for a Mr Whiteman. I've told them to remove my number since I aint him, but still they dont stop. Then they start callin from a diff number...this goes on and on.

It honestly feels like there should be laws against this because my phone gets bombarded with cold calls from loads of different numbers every week! Since I’m deaf, it’s really stressing me out, especially worrying that I might miss something important.

Someone said they were from "The housing team," but no way it was legit. Pretty obvious scam. I gave the name Mr Will Hangon and told them to hold on a sec... Put the phone down on the table and just waited. They actually stayed on the line for 1 minute 4 seconds before they gave up and hung up. Normally they don't hang around past 60 seconds, so that surprised me. Anyway, blocked and reported them.

It's really frustrating. They keep switching up their numbers, so if you block one, they just ring from a different one. Usually, it's just the last digit that changes by one. These calls have gone beyond annoying now, feels like harassment honestly. Just want them to stop bothering me!

Got a call claiming I was living in council or housing association accommodation... Told them I actually live in a tent... They just hung up, lol. Definitely a scam call. Guess they weren’t keen on rehousing me 😂
