I got a call marked as a 'Announced Call' on my BT Call Guardian. The guy on the line was saying I’d won over £6,000 from a PPI claim. I told him I never put in any claim like that. He just kept repeating the same thing like he was reading off some script. After a few rounds of him saying the same info and me saying I hadn’t done any claim, I warned him I’d block the number and then ended the call.

Sounds like it might be someone trying to scam you.

A bloke called saying he was with Legal & General, talking about some PPI thing. When I refused to give my bank info, he started asking for my phone and tablet passwords. Then he wanted to know who supplied my electricity and more. I just messed around, giving him wrong info and kept him on the line for ages.
