Someone called saying they were from Stepchange debt help but it seemed odd because I didn’t expect them to make cold calls. I know they usually don’t try to sell stuff or push you into anything, so this felt dodgy, like maybe it’s not really them. It’s hard to tell for certain. I’d probably save their number then ring Stepchange directly to check if it's legit or not.

I got two calls one after the other and couldn’t pick up, so I thought it was probably something urgent. But then again, they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail, which makes it a bit suspicious 🤷🏻‍♀️. If they’re not gonna leave a message, I’m just gonna block the number.
