I just got a call like this and it was creepy she actually knew my name. I said I’d never heard of her or whatever she was on about and cut her off quick. Total scam, no doubt about it.

I got a call from a woman who claimed she’d chatted with me back in Feb about some sponsorship deal. Then she mentioned an invoice for £179. I told her straight up I wouldn’t agree to anything like that over the phone and there’s no chance I’m coughing up that amount. She kept insisting we’d spoken before and was super friendly, almost like we were mates. I kept pushing back, saying I don’t make deals like that on calls, and after a bit she just ended the call.
