Beware of these scam callers! Got a cold call from a firm named Roof Shield SW Ltd in Southampton. They dont stop pestering you to accept a supposedly free roof survey. Afterwards, they use all sorts of scare tactics - fear, doubt, and uncertainty - to pressure you into buying loft insulation or getting your roof jet washed. They managed to con my elderly relative, who’s 80, into paying thousands for a roof fix that wasn’t needed at all. Pretty awful.
