Seems like a dodgy operation to me. Just received a message claiming that £213 is set to be withdrawn from my bank account. They’re urging me to ring them if I’ve not given my consent for this payment. Definitely not falling for this!

Got a text saying it's from Santander, with some authorisation code for a £340 purchase at John Lewis. But I don't even have an account with Santander, so it's obviously a scam and I blocked the number straight away.

Got a text from 03300431521 saying they've set up a card payment for £213 for 03/04 at 16:41. I never arranged any payment like that. The message asked me to ring them back if I wasn’t responsible but I just blocked the number instead.
