I got a call from someone saying they were from "EDRS" - Exhibition Hotel Rate Services, trying to get me to book a hotel through them. I told them we'd be sticking to the official hotel suggestions from the event. After that, she just ended the call on me. Weird experience!

Got a call from someone saying they were from a trade event we go to, trying to sell discounted hotel rooms. When I checked with the actual event organisers, they said it was a total scam.

Scam alert! Got a call about supposed 'cheap rates' for trade fairs and exhibitions, but it’s all a load of rubbish. The real event organisers have already put out warnings not to trust these calls - don’t pick up!
