The person on the phone claimed they were from Premier Telephone and said that because BT is separating from Openreach, they could give me a better offer. I checked with BT myself and they said that’s not true at all.

Safety guides ltd are goin around sellin bully booklets to schools and then hittin up local businesses to cover the £200 printing costs. Total scam if you ask me. Look them up on company house and you’ll see it’s just a shell company with no real assets, and they’ve changed their address twice in the past year. The original director isn’t a shareholder anymore but still somehow controls the stuff. Stay clear and maybe report them to the police with all the info you can gather.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from a website design firm on this number - kept going on about selling websites and SEO. Total cold call. Had to just end the call and block the number because he wouldn’t take no for an answer even after I said we weren’t interested like a dozen times.

What really gets on my nerves is when they simply alter a single digit and try again. It’s beyond frustrating, especially since my mobile is only shared with family and a handful of mates. As for my landline, I hardly ever have it connected; I only plug it in when necessary - last used it in September. My son mentioned that we'd sometimes get calls in the dead of night, and honestly, who needs that hassle?

I'm pretty sure it’s some automated dialler, and if you did pick up, your number probably gets handed over to some poor sod who thinks their job is more thrilling and important than it really is!
