Got a call today, saying I’d promised to fund some books for schools, which I definitely didn’t. Then they sent over a bill and rang up demanding payment. They even dropped the local head teacher’s name on the first call, so I checked with the school - who told me it’s a scam and they’re reporting it to the County Education Committee. They try to make you think you agreed ages ago, but it’s all a clever con. Proper dodgy.

At first, I was happy to help out by contributing to a safety guide for the local school. But as the invoices kept coming, they got more confusing and less clear. When I tried to see a full breakdown before paying again, the person on the phone grew dodgy and quite rude. Honestly, if you want to support kids, there are much better options than dealing with these people.

Some bloke phoned saying I’d supposedly agreed to assist with their safety booklet. I honestly don’t recall anything like that, and there’s no way I’d say yes without seeing an email or getting some details first. Now they've sent me a full hard copy along with an invoice - it looks really well done, but it feels fishy, like a scam.

Looks like a dodgy outfit... best to give them a wide berth!

I can’t quite recall everything, but they sent me a quick email right away (they had my email somehow). They called out of the blue, saying they were a book and training company. I ended up paying them twice as a sponsor before I dug a bit deeper, then I found loads of bad reviews on sites like Trustpilot.

These lot tricked me into thinking I’d signed up to have my company featured in their directory, which I can't even remember agreeing to. Stupidly, I fell for their nonsense. Now, a bailiff has shown up saying I owe a bigger debt. I've had to report the whole thing to Action Fraud.

Safety Guide Foundation, which used to go by Safety Guide Ltd, has a few numbers they use. The feedback you see here really sums up what to expect from them.

We got a call at work from a woman named Michelle claiming we’d paid something a week ago and telling us to talk to accounts. We know this is a scam tho and she kept threatening us with legal stuff, saying one of our people supposedly agreed to it. That’s just not true at all. Honestly, steer clear of these lot and block the number right away if you get a call from them.

Some woman named Michelle rang me, but she was really vague about where she was calling from and sounded pretty pushy about some debt I supposedly owe. I told her I didn’t know anything about it and asked if she could send me an invoice by email. She just hung up without even taking my email, which was odd. Then she kept ringing a few days later, still demanding I pay up. I saved the number, but I’m not sure I wanna call back since I’m still clueless about what it’s about or if it might be some kind of scam.

Got a dodgy call from this "Safety Guides Ltd." lot. They ring up small businesses pretending that someone supposedly signed up to fund guides for a nearby school. When you say you’ve got no clue what they mean, they just start shouting and banging on about legal stuff. Proper scam if you ask me.
