Somebody rang me with a strong Asian accent which was hard to catch properly. They said they were from some internet company but never gave a name, which felt dodgy straight away. I told them I was busy at work and couldn’t waste my time with scams before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number now and would definitely tell others to do likewise.

They kept ringing us over and over, constantly demanding our bank info. I ended up telling them to bugger off. Weirdly, they already had loads of details about our firm and even the names of the directors.

This number keeps calling me nonstop but when I answer there's absolutely no one on the line. Seems like it’s connected to some Dutch firm that has been bugging me from loads of UK numbers, even one from The Scilly Isles, can you believe it? Best to just block and forget about it.

Got a call at my workplace from some bloke yelling about being from British Gas. Proper rude fella on the line who just wouldn't quit ringing. His constant calls kept the line tied up so real customers couldn’t get through to ask about orders or info. Absolutely ridiculous. Someone needs to sort out this number!

Honestly, the bloke ringing me sounded like he needs some serious help. I told him to do us all a favour and find someone else to bother, but instead, he started blasting music and kept saying something like "keep barking". I just put my phone on speaker and carried on doing stuff - he kept at it for ages, maybe five minutes or so. Then, of course, I tried calling him back and surprise, surprise, no answer. Funny how that works, huh? :)

Got a call that was dead silent, rang back to find out who it was and they claimed to be from Scottish Power. I told them to take me off their list and not to ring again, only to be told to 'f. off'. Pretty clear that was a scam right there :) I've got endless free minutes and some dull shifts coming up, so I’m planning to call them back loads. If you can, give it a go too. Tie up their lines, waste their time and help stop these scams from getting to others.

This number has been an utter nuisance, bombarding us with relentless calls, all while masquerading as our energy supplier. It’s maddening! We’re receiving multiple calls every single day. To safeguard ourselves, I've set a password with the actual provider and promptly ask for it whenever they ring. Yet, regardless of whether I hang up, they keep ringing back like a bad penny. The police, unfortunately, are rather unhelpful in this scenario. I’m in the process of getting call recognition set up so we can avoid answering entirely. These individuals are really quite unscrupulous.

Got a call from someone saying he was from our energy company, asked to chat with the person who runs the business. I said we didn’t want to hear anything, but he just kept ringing back, even when I told him to stop - wasn’t always very polite either. I ended up blocking the number, but he still tried ringing me about ten times after that.

This so-called caller claims to represent our service provider, but it's blatantly obvious they're nothing of the sort. I've had to tell them to leave me alone on numerous occasions, not always in the most civilised of ways, mind you. I keep getting persistent calls from someone wanting to speak to the business owner, and it's well past 7 in the evening! To make things even weirder, the caller then popped the question and asked if I’d marry him! I've had enough, so I switched off my phone and reported the number.

I had a series of relentless calls to my business from a chap who was spinning a pack of lies, claiming to be from my energy company. When I confronted him about his dishonesty, his tone turned aggressive, and I requested that he take my number off his list. This only made him more furious, boasting that he had every right to call me and threatening to ring me a hundred times over. I eventually hung up, but he persisted with his calls, and his language became rather inappropriate, forcing me to leave the phone off the hook for fear of further harassment, which unfortunately cost me potential business. I reached out to BT while this was happening, and they witnessed the vile abuse first-hand, advising me to notify the police. However, when I did, the officers seemed powerless to help, directing me instead to report it to the fraud squad! It really shouldn't be this complicated to put a stop to such distressing behaviour.

My business suffered as a direct result of this harassment. I sought help from BT to block his number, and while I was on the call, they overheard the verbal abuse and advised me to reach out to the police. Unfortunately, the response from the authorities was less than helpful; they suggested I report the incident to the fraud unit instead! It’s frustrating that measures to prevent this sort of harassment aren’t more effective.

Some bloke rang claiming to be from Opus Energy. I told him I wasn't interested and asked him to stop phoning me, but no sooner had I put the phone down than they were ringing again! He called me six times in a row. Eventually, I had to leave the phone off the hook just to get a bit of peace.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Scottish Power. He kept asking to speak to the owner, but I told him I’m the business partner. Then he called me a liar cause he said the list had a man’s name on it. I wasn’t interested but he just kept pushing and insisted we were even customers (which we definitely aren’t). The annoying part is he rang me back like 10 times! Every call I had to answer just to stop him wasting the line for real callers. Proper frustrating!
