I got a call from someone claiming they were from a law firm dealing with council building and maintenance issues. They were trying to get me to give out my personal info. Sounded dodgy to me.

Someone ringing up said they were from a legal outfit that helps tenants in council or housing association homes with repair issues. They asked for both email and home addresses to supposedly arrange for an inspector to come and check the work needed. You could hear loads of people chatting in the background, so it was clearly a call centre. The bloke on the phone called himself "Nathan", but kept messing up how to say his own name. It was an obvious dodgy call, especially since they wanted to come to the property. I flagged it to the Met Police Action Fraud straight away.

Spoke to someone claiming to be from the council about some urgent repairs at my place. They had a thick Irish accent and you could hear loads of background noise like they were in some busy call centre. My friend had the very same call a couple of nights ago around 10.30pm. Gotta admit, seems like the council’s office hours have stretched quite late these days...

Got a ring from some building repair outfit claiming they got my info from the local Council. I had a bit of a laugh telling the guy that my roof had literally flown off. Ended up wasting a good five minutes messing about, but honestly, it's pretty funny taking the mick out of these lot.
