some guy called me, sounded like he wasn't from around here and just wanted a quick chat, maybe 20 seconds tops. I told him i wasn't interested but he just kept at it so i ended the call.

This number keeps ringing me, really annoying, but they never bother to leave a voicemail or say what it’s about.

With all the tech we have now, it's baffling that BT can't block these annoying calls. Really disappointing from BT. The number was 03157158178. Shame on them for letting this go on.

Years back I had a bad accident and now I’m stuck at home most of the time. Because I was so lonely, I usually took these survey calls just for a bit of chat. I made the mistake of sharing my address, and soon after I was swamped with junk mail and loads of unsolicited phone calls. After a while, it hit me that all those persistent calls were linked to the questions I’d answered during the surveys - stuff about life insurance, funerals, home and car insurance, plus a bunch of other things like loft insulation and government schemes. It really got out of hand...

lately ive been getting calls where someone claims my internet is at risk and tries to get into my computer, or they pitch some great deal on bulk wine orders. the worst part is they always ring when im busy, like really early in the morning or right when im trying to eat. it’s so frustrating. end.

Got a call where no one actually talked, just this robotic voice that said goodbye then ended the call! Very odd.

Got two missed calls from 03157158178 on 16/7/19 but no voicemail or message left. Tried calling back but it sounds like the number isn’t valid - pretty sure it’s just some annoying spam.

The number seems to be registered as a landline that covers all over the UK, which makes me think it's either a business wanting to keep its identity hidden, or maybe it has some ties to a government office. Either way, they never leave a message on voicemail and there have only been 6 lookups so far, but no one’s really shared any details. Because of that, my guess is these folks are probably running some kind of scam or dodgy operation.
