I find it really annoying when I get calls around 9:02 in the morning, especially those market research ones that ring me up after lunch. Even though I’m signed up to avoid nuisance calls, they keep coming anyway. You’d think with how much my phone provider charges, they’d do more to stop these unwanted calls.

They keep ringing my phone for someone who ain’t even living at this address. It’s getting a bit annoying now.

I got called two times today but wasn’t home, and they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail either.

Someone rang asking for Mr --------- (my bloke’s name). I told them he wasn’t about. Then they wanted to know who I was, so I just asked back, “Who are you then?” Their answer? “That’s none of your business!” Quite the attitude, huh? Anyone know how to put an end to these annoying calls?

Got a call from 003158839090, which seemed strange because the name sounded English, but the bloke on the line had an Indian accent. He kicked off by asking if I could answer a few questions so they could remove my number from their list or something. But once he got going, it turned out to be the usual script - stuff about my age, home, car and all that. I just hung up feeling annoyed. Weirdly enough, he called me back in under five minutes and attempted the whole thing all over again!

Luckily, I didn’t pick up the call from that number. Instead, I looked it up and then gave your number a ring. Since I’m with TalkTalk, I used their blocked calls feature.

Seems like these cold calls are mostly aimed at older folks. They start off all friendly and chatty to gain trust, then slowly try to get details about their lives or family. The real goal, of course, is to get hold of bank details. They don’t usually ask outright in the first call, unless they reckon the person’s quite vulnerable. Instead, they drip-feed questions over a few calls to build up info. My advice? Don’t give them anything and just end the call. Nobody rings up just to give you a freebie, that’s for sure.

Got a call from this number today, the person was asking about my mum who’s passed away. When I questioned who they were, they just cut off the call. Proper rude behaviour!

My grannies been getting calls from this number loads, always wanna know stuff about their money. They say they're some sort of 'consumer services', but it sounds dodgy as heck. Total scam, I reckon!

Got a ring from them earlier today. I said I was 15 and told them my mum wasn’t home because I wasn’t up for a sales pitch. Then they went and asked if I had a boyfriend! Proper weird if you ask me.

This number has rung me several times before, normally around 9.18 in the morning. It always shows up as coming from abroad and sounds like some kind of automated message. Obviously, there’s not much we can do since these calls originate outside the UK. When will the authorities start taking these so-called marketing survey calls seriously? No one asked for them, and they’re bloody annoying. There should be some way to block them, especially since we’re already shelling out plenty for our phone line rentals. Properly frustrating!

Some times they’re quiet but other times they come off as pretty rude.

I keep getting calls from this number, definitely best not to pick up.

This number keeps phoning my mum whenever she’s not home. Whenever she gets back, she always looks at her missed calls and this same number is there again and again. I told her it’s probably nothing serious and if it was important, they’d leave a message. Still, she can’t help feeling a bit anxious about it.

This number keeps ringing me non stop, leaving some kinda messages. The most recent one was yelling, "Anyone there? Please pick up!" Quite annoying honestly.

I got calls from this number quite a few times, and honestly, the people on the other end were really impolite.

My parents got a call from this number but thankfully they didn't pick up. Feels like it might be one of those dodgy scam calls.
